Lake Forest, Illinois –Home Addition

 Built by Roig Associates construction division, Advent Design Group, this innovative structure was built as an addition to an existing home. The main entrance was to be relocated to the quieter side street and the existing 1940 ranch home was to be honored and not altered in any way. This required the side of the existing home to become part of the front façade. The home features innovative use of glass block and windows. It added a new great room, kitchen, multi-room master suite and energy saving (green) mechanical fixtures and appliances.
